Week 10 Topics of Term 3 (12 March - 16 March 2012)
The children will experience several activities learning about ‘RECREATION PARK’. They will learn singing the topic song ‘THE MERRRY GO ROUND’ and reciting the topic rhyme ‘TEDDY BEAR’S PICNIC’. They will be introduced to ‘SEQUENCING 1-20’ during their Math lesson, learn and practice reading CVC words (BUN, MAT, NUT, JAM) for their literacy skill development, understand about ‘WATER FOUNTAIN’ for their Science lesson, learn about ‘CAPE AND BAY’ for their lesson in Culture and enjoy participating ‘MIXED PATTERNS’ for their logical exercise. Surely, they will have fun joining the drama play ‘CLOWN JUGGLING’, playing the game ‘BINGO’ and stretching muscles for their muscle work ‘DARTS’. They will also learn following simple steps in completing their construction art ‘MERRY GO ROUND’, printing art ‘BALLOON POPPING’ and follow simple steps in completing ‘SWING’ drawing.
During this week, the children will experience fun learning activities related to the topic ‘MALL’. They will learn the song ‘I AM GOING SHOPPING’ and topic rhyme ‘HIPPITY HOP TO THE GROCERY SHOP’. They will indulge in practicing building CVC word lists. They will learn the concept of ‘MEASURING WEIGHT’ for their Math lesson, understand about “PRONOUN WE and THEY’ as their Early Grammar lesson, learn about ‘CAPE and BAY’ for their lesson in Culture and fun experiment about ‘SRTING TELEPHONE’ for their Science experiment. They will also have fun joining their drama play ‘GARMENT SHOPPING’, playing the game ‘SHOP FOR FUN’, and do some muscle exercise “JUMP to CHARGE’. In addition, they will further understand “ABB PATTERNING’ for Logic exercise and they will surely enjoy completing their artwork “SHOPPING BAG’, colouring worksheet ‘TROLLEY’ and doing ‘TAG COLLAGE’ as their printing art.
